Our best selling silhouette has had an upgrade, years of testing, tweaks and changes have resulted in a beautiful ladies tweed waistcoat that skims the body in a super flattering shape. The armholes are deeper to allow for wearing a thick sweater underneath, yet not gape-y when just wearing a shirt, the gilet is longer to keep you warm and shaped to enhance your figure, the neck high and flattering. After feedback we have added a 2 way zip to make the tweed gilet super practical for everyday wear.
Not only does the Wye women's tweed gilet look and feel great, we've been busy working on it being as sustainable as possible too. Of course, genuine Harris tweed ticks all of those boxes, it being hand woven on the Isle of Harris using Shetland wool, we needed to make the linings equally eco friendly. After experimenting with various mediums we have sourced a fantastic 100% biodegradable wadding. It offers high insulation whilst being fully compostable after 30 days. Happy days! To complete this great women's tweed gilet we use a quality organic cotton jersey to line it with.

Which courier will ship my order?
Orders are sent from the UK using Royal Mail and, for international orders, are then passed on to your local postal service.
How long will my order take to arrive?
We always choose ✈️ Air for all International orders. Please allow up to 12 days for Northern Europe deliveries and 21 days for the Southern Europe. Deliveries to Italy, Spain and Portugal can take longer due to local postal networks. Please note, some postal networks may experience delays during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Has my order been shipped yet?
Once you have paid for your order online, you will be sent an order confirmation within 24hrs. We will contact you again by email, or you by text, letting you know when your order has been dispatched.
What packaging should I expect for my order?
We use plain boxes. The box, packing slip, postcards and inside bag are all 100% recyclable ♻️.
