    About Us

     

    The emphasis has always been about designing pieces to last and be cherished, to incorporate into your wardrobe, rather than contribute to the constant churn of the fashion industry. It's about an evolution through the seasons, maintaining a continuity with fabrics and styles therefore reducing waste and overproduction.

    Originally selling through local markets and Point to Points we now travel the country attending many prestigious events such as Badminton and Burghley Horse Trials. By retailing directly we can keep our prices competitive whilst maintaining quality and a fair price for production.

    In the beginning, Clare designed, cut the patterns, and made all the clothing herself, however, as sales have grown the garments are now made in independent tailoring units in the UK. The design, patterns and samples are all created in house.

    The cloths used are all selected from British mills. From beautiful hand woven Harris Tweed from the Isle of Harris to the softest merino lambswool from Abraham Moon, the quality of the cloth is at the heart of every collection. 

    We are trying our hardest to be as environmental as possible, from our packaging through to our choice of cloth. This is an ongoing process, we have eliminated all plastic from our packaging both from our manufacturers and then in delivery to our customers. We will continue to learn and improve.

    The clothes and accessories are innovative, individual and practical; here at Julian Road HQ we wear them every day so are constantly reviewing and improving to make them perfect for you.

    If you live outside the UK, your country inspects goods as they arrive. Sometimes they apply duties and taxes and a small clearance or handling fee. This is dependant on each counties custom thresholds, any trade agreements that are in place and the courier companies handling cost. Please note this is not included in our product or shipping cost.

    Delivery Questions

     

    Which courier will ship my order?

    Orders are sent from the UK using Royal Mail and, for international orders, are then passed on to your local postal service. 

     

    How long will my order take to arrive?

    We always choose ✈️ Air for all International orders. Please allow up to 12 days for Northern Europe deliveries and 21 days for the Southern Europe. Deliveries to Italy, Spain and Portugal can take longer due to local postal networks. Please note, some postal networks may experience delays during the COVID-19 pandemic.

    Has my order been shipped yet?

    Once you have paid for your order online, you will be sent an order confirmation within 24hrs. We will contact you again by email, or you by text, letting you know when your order has been dispatched.

    What packaging should I expect for my order?

    We use plain boxes. The box, packing slip, postcards and inside bag are all 100% recyclable ♻️.

    Do you deliver outside the UK?

    Yes. Make sure to select the correct country field during checkout. For International shipping cost, see the above information.
